A. In many cases, no. If your property and household meet the eligibility criteria for GBIS or ECO4, the energy-saving upgrades will be fully funded. If you only partially qualify, or choose additional upgrades, we’ll explain any costs clearly before installation—so there are no surprises.

A. Most loft or cavity wall insulation installations are completed within 1–2 days. A boiler upgrade generally takes one day. We’ll let you know the timeline in advance during the home survey.
If internal wall insulation or retrofitting is needed, it may take longer and might involve minor redecoration work afterward.

A. Once your home is better sealed, it can change airflow and moisture buildup. That’s why our retrofit survey includes a ventilation assessment—we’ll recommend or install adequate ventilation solutions to prevent condensation, mould, or moisture problems, helping your home stay healthy and dry.
